In the quiet one lone voice could be heard
The sea of faces listening quietly;
Dissolving the information into the depths of the sea.
Smiling the voice continued to explain,
The positive and negatively of answers.
Every sea is silent until a pure little bells wash over the waves.
Only one moves at the bells.
Only one would dare to move
Only one would ever hear these bells
The bells continue to chime and become louder and clear
The bells are wrong, they do not chime
They are children, giggling purely entertained.
Only one can here them, only one can see.
This one sea is unable to stop the bells.
The sea longs for the lone voice of the teacher in the front.
Little ones be quiet – the sea beings to shout
But the young ones do not listen as their giggles increase.
They merely sit and giggle
As the watch the clock.
They are counting down the minutes
The hours until there where free
To dance and sing around the sea,
The only one who sees.
But when the clock,
Finally strikes at 4,
The little girls aren’t granted
At what they thought before.
The sea they love so very much,
Merely walks away,
Another class is waiting,
“The games are for another day.”
But this lesson is better,
The children will enjoy,
Watching as the one they love,
Tries to catch the ball,
Watching as the one who’s special
Tries to win at all.
This is a time,
When they can be free.
Running around the others,
Ones that cannot see.
They laugh and giggle and play and run
For now they can be free.
The one that they look after
Smiles for all that be.
While she may not talk to them,
And answer all they qualms.
She stills watches over them,
And keeps them safe from harm.
While nothing in this mortal life,
Can harm a soul like theirs,
It is still nice for them to know,
How much she truly cares.
The bells are there for the sea,
So no tears she will shed again,
If they are there to show the light
And how life is meant to be,
Then the sea cannot be made of tears
That once it use to be.
They came to her in the dark of night,
When no one could hear her cries,
As she held herself together,
By her chilling arms.
A Man had taken away a light,
That once shone in her eyes,
Something that the bells had seen
And truly use to adore.
But he had gone, and taken it,
And hide it far away.
The girl he left was broken,
But only a few could see.
She wouldn’t tell her mother
And hid it from all her friends.
Of what that man did to her,
And how it changed her life.
So the bells once hidden,
That walked the land with her.
Appeared to her that very day
And told her not to cry.
“you should not waste your tears for him”
one bell did choose to say.
A gasp was all the sea did show,
As she looked upon their faces.
For she should not be able to see the girls
And their very souls.
“what he did to you was wrong,
and he will rot in hell.
But do you want him to kill,
The light that was in your eyes?
Will you let him scar you,
And leave with you this mark?
Or will you stand and listen to us,
We’ll show you along the way,
That what he did won’t change your life”
The other one did say.
Then in unison they smiled and looked within her eyes
“that’s our job” they giggled
and bells they became.
They waited, these bells,
For her to answer them.
The first smile they had seen
Then finally graced her face.
“your too young to swear”
she said and smiled at them at that.
Looking around the room, the girl did look confused
“I thought Selene would be with you”
the girls did smile at look at her,
love was in their eyes.
“Selene guards a pure soul,
and will heal along the way.
But when a soul will not be healed,
Her light fades to shine another way.”
One did say, puling on her pig tails,
And smiling up at her
“in that form I could not talk,
as that form was not true.
but with my sister by my side
I can talk to you.”
“Selene, is my name they call,
one I know you’ve used.
But I like it when you shortened it,
And Le is what I choose.
Sitting here next to me,
Is a girl I was born with.
She is my sister, in heart and soul,
And singing is what she is.”
“La, is what you’ll call me,
for that is the name I choose,
but I know of who you are,
and though you cannot see,
that the name we choose to call you,
is one for Athena use to be.”
“La and Le can’t you see,
I am cannot be wise.
I made mistakes I let him in,
And he took all that he could.
Why would you call me wise,
If you knew this true.
Little Le, you should know,
That the pain I surely see,
Isn’t for one to whom to call wise”
“Athena you are wiser then you know,
you may have made mistakes,
but you can see us,
for this that makes you wise.
You will choose another path
Today for you can see,
That others stand by your side
And you know this to be true,
That will we be with you through it all”
“in one form or another” added little Le.
“Why did I see you, in another form?”
Little le did look up into the tear filled eyes.
“You could only see,
what you thought was true,
But now you’ve opened up your eyes
And see what’s now before you.
La and I have been here,
By your side for years.
But you could not see us,
Nor understand our fears.
We have loved you since we saw you,
Walking down the street,
Singing a song with no tune
And dancing with your feet.
We saw the love,
That you gave to everyone,
We wanted a love like that,
Since we left our mum.”
Little Les eyes did tear,
and she did look away
La smiled sadly
And finished what she had to say
“Your soul is light,
and we do love,
as it sparkles in your eyes.
So we wish to stay with you,
And help you in this time.
For we know you need a friend”
“some one true like us”
“who can see and make you smile”
“Well, theirs no one better for me then you two”
The children smiles,
Did brighten up the room,
They giggled and laughed;
The bells did chime,
And now they haven’t stopped.
So that was the only day,
The bells where silent,
And stoic where their faces.
For now they dance around the sea,
And laugh and chime all day.
They watch her as she sits in class,
And as she sleeps at night.
As their sea goes home that day,
They do sit within her car,
Laughing about how she missed,
The ball that did go far.
They sit and chat, and giggle,
And smile with their sea,
For she says they bug her,
And annoy her up the wall.
When is all said and done,
They know it isn’t true,
For they sit and listen
To her heart , not her words.
Yes they wake her up some days,
As they play around.
Yes they chat and never stop,
As they dance and sing.
But they are never far away from her
And that she’ll always love.
For no one else can seem them,
When they are with her.
Some others can often feel them,
As they play with moods,
They often get excited,
And wish for others to share.
But at the end of the day
They aren’t just their to watch,
They are their to share the light,
That now shines within her eye.
Its even stronger when she looked at them,
And they know their job can never end.
So They watch and play,
And enjoy their day,
Knowing they are loved.
Knowing that they are needed,
Just like they need the sea.
